Our Work

The work of the Committee is accomplished through its subcommittees. They work closely with the Committee’s Executive Director in order to deliver meaningful and concrete programs in an efficient manner. Some of projects that the Committee is presently supporting are listed below:

• Planning, design and construction of a Natural History Museum in conjunction with the Smithsonian Institution and the California Academy of Sciences
• AIDS prevention and treatment
• Improvement of environment (air quality, water quality and solid waste management)
• Student exchanges – high school and post secondary schools
• Promotion of trade and commerce
• Emergency response safety and training
• Library book exchange and E-library
• Art exchange (performing and non-performing)
• Transportation planning and urban design
• Tourism
• Information technology and software development
• Bio-medical development
• Sport matches
• Preservation of the Nom language
