What:
Leaders of industry from the province of Vinh Phuc, Vietnam are seeking bilateral partnerships to work and trade with Americans. A group of twenty senior corporate and government officials will visit San Francisco to inform American industry leaders and others about meaningful opportunities that will enhance trade and commerce between our two nations. These people represent opportunities for partnerships in construction, research, investment, tourism, and technology.
Background:
Vinh Phuc Province is located in the Red River Valley of Vietnam. It lies about one-hour northwest of Vietnam’s capital, Hanoi, and has a population of approximately 1.5 million people. The infrastructure of the province is very developed and the highway system can easily accommodate various types of modern vehicles. Transportation between Vinh Phuc and Hanoi is readily available. The climate is similar to that of northern California and has four distinct seasons. There are several hotels geared to greet business people and/or backpackers.
The Vinh Phuc delegation is visiting the Bay Area to inform and attract capital and business investments. The representatives are particularly interested in developing relationships with businesses and R&D entities in the fields of electronics, bio-tech. construction, motorbikes, and scooters.
