The art and culture of Vietnam is of tremendous interest to the Committee. You can learn to speak, read and write Vietnamese, and learn about Vietnamese folklore, the country’s history and its people. The Committee, in cooperation with the San Francisco Public Library supports a book exchange program between the libraries of the two cities and as well as the promotion of sports exchanges.

The above only touches upon some of the activities of this Sister City Committee. It should be noted that the Committee organizes special events that recognize and celebrate the Sister City relationship and/or individuals that are key to its success. All people of goodwill are invited to attend.
